29th Annual Scientific Meeting Exceeds Expectations

The trend went decidedly upwards—in the amount of attendees, oral and poster presentations, and exhibitors at this year’s Annual Scientific Meeting, held in Chicago, September 4-6. We saw a 43% increase in accepted abstract submissions from our 2007 meeting, conference attendees increased by 30%, and our exhibit hall sold out of space!

An update on the female pelvic floor medicine and reconstructive surgery subspecialty accreditation presented by William Steers, MD

The always-popular Educational Roundtable Discussions

Anatomy Review Course led by John Delancy, MD; Kim Kenton, MD; and Beth Mueller, MD

Colleagues gathered for a variety of social activities, such as the Welcome Reception and Awards Luncheon; participated in the 2nd Annual AUGS Foundation Fun Run; let their inner rock stars shine in the AUGS Foundation Karaoke Challenge; and shared the evening skyline of Chicago on the waterfront boat cruise.
