We invite you to join us in Chicago September 4-6, 2008 for the AUGS 29th Annual Scientific Meeting. As always, the Scientific Meeting offers unique opportunities to network with experts in our field, collect cutting-edge urogynecology research, enjoy quality education and discover new tools to improve your practice.
The meeting is designed to meet the needs of physicians, nurses, physical therapists, students, researchers, educators and other healthcare professionals interested in urogynecologic care and research. New treatment techniques and developments in both surgical and non-surgical settings will be shared through a variety of educational formats that will encourage discussion and idea sharing. Scientific material will be presented through oral, poster, video and tips and tricks abstracts.
Highlights of this year’s meeting include:
- A panel discussion on caring for geriatrics patients,
- A State of the Science lecture on the “Future of Bladder Research: Molecular Profiling, New Drug Targets, Gene Therapy, and Tissue Engineering,”
- An update on Female Pelvic Floor Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Subspecialty Accreditation,
- An array of postgraduate courses,
- And more than 65 oral presentations, including surgical videos, poster presentations and tips and tricks
While the primary focus of the Annual Scientific Meeting is educational in nature, we hope that you will take some time to relax and enjoy few of the social events offered at the meeting such as the AUGS Foundation Mix and Mingle and the AUGS Waterfront Cocktail Party.
