    On March 31, 2014, the Senate passed H.R. 4302, the “Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014,” which postpones the imminent 24 percent Medicare physician payment cut for 12 months, until April 1, 2015.

    FDA approves Botox to treat overactive bladder
    The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today expanded the approved use of Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA) to treat adults with overactive bladder who cannot use or do not adequately respond to a class of medications known as anticholinergics.

    SGR and Sequestration Cuts Averted

    A nearly 30% cut in Medicare physician payments was averted on Jan.1 when the House of Representatives passed H.R. 8 the American Taxpayer Relief Act, also known as the Middle Class Tax Relief Act. Previously the Senate approved the package on a vote of 89-8.

    Low-risk Women Experience Little Pelvic Floor Dysfunction After Both Vaginal and Cesarean Birth
