John Andrew Fantl
Since he received one of the first NIH grants given in the field in 1979, Dr. Fantl has pursued research in women’s pelvic floor disorders and worked to bring these issues to national attention. His accomplishments in research and education are matched only by his passion for the field.

Donald Ostergard
Dr. Ostergard for his role as one of the founding members of AUGS. In 1979, he recognized the importance of educating physicians in FPMRS and has maintained this focus and continues to actively participate in AUGS’ education programs, playing an integral role in the creation of an AUGS clinical course.

Jack Robertson
The first Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Jack Robertson, MD, for his roles as the founder and first President, and for his significant contributions to female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery field over the years. At the 31st Annual Meeting, AUGS recognized Jack Robertson by officially changing the award name to the Jack Robertson Lifetime Achievement Award
