The AQUIRE Registry can help your practice with 2017 MIPS reporting…but only if you register by September 30, 2017!
In order to utilize The AQUIRE Registry for 2017 MIPS reporting, practices must sign up by September 30, 2017. Completing your AQUIRE registration sooner will allow you more time to review your performance data, and make any needed adjustments to maximize your MIPS participation.
The AUGS Urogynecology Quality Registry, AQUIRE, is registered as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry and Specialty Registry open to all members of AUGS, including urogynecologists, OB/GYNs, PAs, and NPs. The registry meets CMS requirements for Meaningful Use and MOC Part IV. In 2017, AQUIRE was approved as a QCDR by CMS and users will be able to submit quality measures more easily to CMS and other private insurers for reimbursement should they choose to do so. QCDRs are key vehicles to automate the reporting of data to qualify for Medicare reimbursement. Private payers are also moving to collect these quality measures to evaluate providers. CMS is awarding MIPS bonus points for measures gathered and reported through a QCDR along with other mechanisms. The use of QCDRs is encouraged to report new and innovative quality measures. CMS also allows QCDR’s to report data on all MIPS categories that require data submission with the hope that submitting all MIPS data through QCDRs will reduce reporting burden and positively affect performance scores. AQUIRE is a national urogynecology-focused registry designed to measure and report healthcare quality and patient outcomes. The Registry has been developed by urogynecologists for urogynecologists. Through the aggregation and organization of clinical- and patient-reported outcomes, the Registry will provide participants with benchmarking tools to monitor your outcomes compared to your peers and identify areas for continued improvement. See AUGS' actionable measures (PDF).
Basic participation in AQUIRE is a benefit of AUGS physician membership. Additional fees may apply for the submission of your MIPS data to CMS. Non-member physicians board certified in FPMRS can join the registry for $295 annually. Contact AQUIRE@augs.org to join the registry as a non-member.
