Program Overview
Mentorship offers participants the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with others outside of their institution/facility. The AUGS Mentoring Program engages a diverse group of members with a focus on building connections and guiding mentees from a variety of professional perspectives on career development topics.
There are opportunities to participate as a mentee (residents, fellows, early career members within 8 years of fellowship graduation) or a mentor.
2026 Programming
Speed Mentoring Sessions: 1-on-1 and small group virtual mentoring sessions designed for early career members focused on pre-planned topics related to professional development, career advancement, integration of research, work-life balance, and optimization of clinical practice. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with multiple mentors during each session.
Webinars: Mentorship will be provided through panel discussion sessions designed around topics relevant to educational milestones.
Mentors will have the opportunity to lead speed mentoring breakout discussions around topics of interest/expertise and/or serve on webinar panels.
