The AUGS Distinguished Service Award honors an individual who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and service to the Society over the past calendar year. The award recognizes a member whose sustained volunteer efforts and commitment of time and talent have significantly advanced the mission of AUGS and enriched the urogynecology community. Recipients embody the spirit of service by going above and beyond in support of AUGS’ programs, initiatives and membership.
Nomination Criteria
- Must be an AUGS member at time of nomination and acceptance of the award
- A significant non-monetary contribution to AUGS in the past calendar year
- Individuals currently serving in an appointed leadership role (Officers/Directors on AUGS’ Board of Directors, Chairs/Vice Chairs, Course Directors) are not eligible for consideration for the award until one year after their term of service is completed
- Must be nominated by an AUGS member or staff
