There are over a dozen committees whose collective work delivers on the strategic initiatives of AUGS. These groups are critical to providing services, education, and support to our members. There are a variety of opportunities available, allowing volunteers to match with a committee that best aligns with their passions and talents.
Committee appointments are for one year (January – December), with the possibility of renewing for up to two additional years. Vice-chair and Chair roles are for two year cycles. Please see committee charters for additional details and exceptions.
Qualifications for Committee Volunteers
Committee candidates must be a Society member in good standing with:
- An express desire to serve with a special interest in the committee’s area of focus.
- A desire to advance the mission of AUGS.
- The ability to make the necessary time commitment.
- The ability to attend and actively participate in conference calls.
