Presented by the AUGS Coding Committee.

Stay ahead of critical Medicare payment and coding changes that will directly impact urogynecology practices in 2026. This timely two-part webinar series provides a comprehensive overview of the CY 2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule and related policy updates, with a focus on what matters most for AUGS members.

Designed for physicians, advanced practice providers, and coders, this series will help you understand the policy landscape, anticipate future changes, and apply current rules accurately to protect reimbursement and maintain compliance.

Part 1: 2026 Coding and Policy Update

Rachel Hollander, from McDermott+, along with members of the AUGS Coding Committee will break down key reimbursement changes—including the first net increase to the Medicare conversion factor in years—and explain how new CMS policies may affect physician work RVUs, practice expense RVUs, and payments across office and facility settings. Attendees will gain practical insights into specialty-level impacts, efficiency adjustments, and site-of-service considerations relevant to urogynecology.

The webinar will also cover important updates related to telehealth flexibilities, including for virtual direct supervision and teaching physician requirements, and evolving CMS policies around provider enrollment and home addresses. In addition, faculty will review expanded use of the G2211 add-on code and discuss how to appropriately capture payment for longitudinal, complex patient care.

Part 2: Live Q&A and Common Coding Pitfalls

Part 2 is an interactive, open Q&A session designed to address the questions and challenges AUGS members face in daily practice. The AUGS Coding Committee will respond to participant-submitted questions and walk through common coding pitfalls and challenges.

Key Takeaways Include:

  • What the 2026 Medicare conversion factor increase means—and why future cuts remain a risk
  • How CMS efficiency adjustments and indirect practice expense changes affect payments
