Call for Manuscript Reviewer – PFD Week 2025, AUGS Annual Meeting
Urogynecology, the American Urogynecologic Society journal, is seeking volunteers to serve as peer reviewers for the volume of manuscripts from the upcoming PFD Week 2025, AUGS Annual Meeting. Your expertise is critical for ensuring the high scientific quality and timely consideration of the papers we will be receiving this year.
Application deadline: July 23, 2025
Writing Groups
Contribute to the development of guidelines, position papers, reports, and other important documents. Writing group members collaborate with subject matter experts to publish high-impact resources in Urogynecology for the profession.
Pregnancy and Delivery After Procedures for Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Organ Prolapse
Deadline: August 5, 2025
AUGS is currently seeking volunteers to help develop a clinical practice statement. This document will revise and replace the 2020 Clinical Guidance publication, Pregnancy in Women With Prior Treatments for Pelvic Floor Disorders, to focus on pregnancy and delivery outcomes including maternal, pelvic floor, and fetal, following procedures for correction of urinary incontinence (UI) and/or pelvic organ prolapse (POP).
Association of Anticholinergic Medication Use and Cognition in Women With Overactive Bladder
Deadline: August 5, 2025
AUGS is currently seeking volunteers to help develop a clinical consensus statement. This document will revise and replace the 2017 publication on this topic to include studies that have published since the 2017 iteration. These studies support the correlation and increased risk of dementia/cognitive dysfunction with anticholinergic use.
Committees
Join a standing or ad hoc committee to support the Society’s mission. Committee members contribute expertise, shape initiatives, and collaborate with peers to advance our strategic goals. Committee terms typically run from January to December.

Serve in a key leadership role by helping to set strategic priorities, ensure good governance, and represent the voice of our members. Board members are vital to steering the future of the organization.

Call for Topic Proposals
In an effort to continue the evolution and development of urogynecology-focused publications, AUGS seeks input from its members about important clinical guidance topics that are needed in the field throughout the year.

Annual Meeting Abstract Reviewers
Help shape the content of our flagship annual event by reviewing and scoring submitted abstracts. Reviewers ensure high standards and help highlight innovative and relevant work in the field.
The 2026 Annual Meeting abstract reviewer process will open in the Fall of 2025.
Grant Proposal Reviewers
Play a crucial role in advancing research by reviewing submitted grant proposals. Use your expertise to assess the quality, feasibility, and impact of proposed projects, helping to fund promising ideas.
Reviewer applications will open in January 2026.
Mentoring Program
Share your experience and expertise as you guide upcoming urogynecologists. You may participate as a small group (“pod”) facilitator for early career members, meeting virtually several times through the year. Additionally, there are opportunities to present during resident and fellows programming scheduled throughout the year around relevant and timely topics.
Mentor applications will open in January 2026.
