I have been fortunate to receive support from AUGS , as a Foundation scholar as a fellow, and an AUGS Foundation Grant as a faculty member.

Interest Statement
AUGS has played a critical role in my career development, and I would like to give back to this organization. I am committed to continue to serve AUGS as a volunteer for several reasons. First, my experience in multiple roles within AUGS provides me with insight into many aspects and challenges of our organization. Second, I am keenly aware of the issues in advancing science in our field, and I am dedicated to supporting research of pelvic floor disorders. Lastly, I have been actively involved in training FPRMS subspecialists, and I am committed to supporting the development of future providers in our field.

Interest Statement
Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Reconstructive Surgery is an evolving subspecialty in Canada.  We have long needed the expertise in this field and it is a goal that I have carried a preeminent role in facilitating.  I have been a key player in establishing FPMRS as a required rotation in residency within the Royal College of Canada.  I have established a comprehensive fellowship program at McGill University, arguably the most elite university in Canada.  It is this passion and commitment that is required to chair a committee committed to the goals of maintaining standards of care in providing pelvic floor health care.  I have extensive research experience from years of graduate school prior to embarking on a medical career.  The diversity of international exposure I provide is essential to the mantra of AUGS.  I look forward to being heavily involved in the society for years to come.
