Urogynecology Early Career Peer Reviewer Academy
Deadline to apply: January 2, 2023
The journal is pleased to announce the establishment of the Urogynecology Early Career Peer Reviewer Academy. The Academy will offer an annual training cycle to fellowship graduates from the prior June/July.
Successful applicants will join the dedicated training program as Early Career Peer Reviewers and upon successful graduation will become recognized “Academy Graduate” peer reviewers for Urogynecology. Academy training sessions will begin in September 2023. The 1-year program includes preparation of four quality peer reviews with an Academy mentor who will provide feedback during the preparation of peer reviews for assigned Urogynecology journal manuscripts. Academy mentors will also assist with helping the Early Career Peer Reviewers track their review activities on Publons. Participation in the Academy is highly encouraged although it is not a prerequisite to becoming a future reviewer.
The Early Career Reviewer is expected to attend the following three 30-minute training sessions (two options per session) that are aligned with the Urogynecology journal’s recently updated peer-reviewer guidance and taught by Urogynecology editorial team members.
